Abstract

MEDICINAL WEALTH OF DINDORI FOREST DIVISION OF MADHYA PRADESH INDIA NEED CONSERVATION AND SYSTEMIC COLLECTION

Abstract

Dindori forest Division is one of the richest source of medicinal plants in Madhya Pradesh state. Present paper deals with the medicobotanical survey work of all the 7 forest ranges of Dindori forest division which describes 116 medicinal plants which are commonly used in Ayurvedic pharmacies/drug industries and are also used by local inhabitants. The plants are arranged in alphabetical order of their botanical names followed by Botanical description, parts used and their action etc.
