Abstract The entire plant of Morinda Citrifolia L. (Noni) from the family Rubiaceae is well known for its medicinal values. It is an edible plant in which the leaves and fruits can be used as emergency food. This can also be used as drink, medicine and colorful dye. The medicinal applications are attributed to the presence of various phytochemical constituents. The plant is rich various phytochemicals like Anthraquinone glycoside, glycosides, terpenes, sterols, organic acids and amino acids. The objective of the present article is to throw light on update report of applications and phytochemicals with chemical structures. It is concluded that the phytochemicals like Xeronines, Scopoletin, damnacanthal and Asperulosidic acid show activities antiathritis, antimicrobial, antiseptic and antitumor respectively.
