SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND EVALUATION OF ANTIOXIDANT AND ANTHELMINTIC ACTIVITY OF SUBSTITUTED MANNICH BASE ARYL IMIDAZOLE DERIVATIVES

Abstract

A new series of substituted Mannich base Aryl Imidazole derivatives were synthesized by standard method. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, NMR, Mass and elementary analysis. Newly synthesized compounds were subjected for Anti-oxidant by DPPH method and Anthelmintic activity by Mathew et al method. Some of the compounds have shown promising Antioxidant and Anthelmintic activity against standard Ascorbic acid and Albendazole respectively.
