ANTICANCER POTENTIAL MEDICINAL PLANTS EXISTING IN BANGLADESH: A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW

Abstract

Nowadays cancer is one of the foremost causes of death and the numbers of cases of cancer are globally increasing ever more. There are quite a few medicines accessible in the market to treat cancer but no drug is found yet to be fully efficient and safe and sound. Nevertheless plants and plant consequent products have proved successful and secure in the treatment and administration of cancers. Numerous natural products as well as their analogues have been identified as compelling anti-cancer agents and day by day the anticancer possessions of different plants is being acknowledged. Here an endeavor is being made throughout this review to highlights medicinal plants recognized as anti-cancer agents and the latest plant species branded with anti-cancer properties available in Bangladesh.
