SYNTHESIS OF NANOCOMPOSITES ZINC AND COBALT FERRITEPOLYANILINE BY POLYMERIZATION METHOD, THEIR CHARACTERIZATION AND BIO ASSAY.

Abstract In the present research, synthesis of magnetic cobalt ferrite-Ployaniline and Zinc Ferrites-Ployaniline nanocomposites is successfully carried out by using precipitation method. The characterisation of synthesised magnetic nanocomposites is carried out using IR and XRD techniques. The average particle size of cobalt ferrite and zinc ferrites nanocomposites calculated by Scherer formula (XRD) is 42 nm. The IR spectra shows typical IR stretching frequencies for organic polyaniline and metal oxygen linkages. The synthesised cobalt ferrite and zinc ferrites Nano composites possess significant antimicrobial activity with gram negative bacteria such as E. coli and prepared nanocomposites has good bioassay shows potent antimicrobial activity.
