IMMUNOGLOBULINS LEVELS IN SERA OF PATIENTS WITH BLADDER CANCER
Kifah Ibrahim Taha*; Hazima Mossa Khalil* and Maha Mohmmad Al-Sayyid*
Abstract The urinary bladder cancer in Iraq of all kinds One of the most common malignant tumors It is Grade second class after lung cancer in men and tenth Grade in the women by the Iraqi cancer in 2011 the Council of reaching the number of cases in males 866 cases in the rate of 9.26%, while the females, reaching the number of cases 297 in the rate of 2.72%. Therefore, the present study was aimed to expression identify the quantity or concentration of an antigen in Blood samples (70) were collected from patients with bladder cancer a from the oncology center in Hospital martyr Ghazi Al-Hariri and Teaching Hospital Oncology and (5) from healthy people as control group. The average of IgM level was 177.68 mg\dl in comparison with the control group 113.10 mg\dl (Fig.2, table1). According to World Health Organization measurements while IgM level reached to 154.86 mg\dl in comparison with the control group 99.20 mg\dl (Fig.3). According to The International Federation of Clinical Chemistry measurements. The average of IgG level was 1032.87 mg\dl in comparison with the control group 773.28 mg\dl (Fig., table1). According to World Health Organization measurements while IgG level reached to 1122.70 mg\dl in comparison with the control group 840.90 mg\dl According to The International Federation of Clinical Chemistry measurements. Conclusions: The results indicate to that immunoglobulins levels in serum of patients with bladder canceris an immunodiffusion technique used to determine the quantity or concentration of an antigen in a sample (serum). The test is predominantly used to determine abnormally levels of one or more serum immunoglobulins such as, IgM, IgG and then determine the immune response to these antigens by patients compared with healthy people (control).
