EFFICACY OF CHURNA RATNAM IN THE MANAGEMENT OF KSHEENASHUKRA (OLIGOZOOSPERMIA): CASE REPORT

Abstract Ayurveda, the abstract of all Vedas dreams about “Shreyasi Praja”. Ayurveda gives importance to the quality of the seed (Shukra and Artava). Male infertility can be defined as an inability to induce conception due to defect in spermatic function. Oligospermia can be the result of many factors,some are permanent and some are reversible.Causes of Oligospermia inclide an obstruction of the normal flow of sperm due to such conditions as testicular trauma and vasectomy. The quantity and quality of sperm are decreasing day by day, which may be due to altered life style, rapid industrialization etc. The male partner carrying pathological semen reports include low sperm count, motility, abnormal forms and sperm functional test and whose female partners have been ruled out for the possible etiological factors of infertility may be diagnosed under Male Infertility. The research was designed for the management of Oligozoospermia by administration of selected herbal powder in 2 months duration for low sperm count patient at IPGT & RA, Institute and Hospital, Jamnagar. Aim & Objective: To find the efficacy of Churna Ratnam in the management of Ksheenshukra (Oligozoospermia). Result: Better efficacy has been perceived through intervention.
