A CASE REPORT ON BILATERAL HYDROURETERO NEPHROSIS

Abstract Bilateral Hydroureteronephrosis is a condition characterized by dilation or swelling of ureter, urinary bladder and kidney which results in blockage of the urinary tract along with the path of urine flow towards the bladder. This blockage is due to the formation of calculi (stones) or stricture in the kidney. We present a case of 65 years old male patient with a history of Bilateral Hydroureteronephrosis who was was admitted in Santhiram medical and general hospital, Nandyal. In this case patient was presented with difficulty in passing of urine, drifting of urine and loose stools of 5 episodes per day. Ultrasound Examination of abdomen and pelvis revealed Bilateral Hydrouretero Nephrosis on right side renal calculi with dilated ureter. The patient was treated with the following medications like Injection OFLOXACIN (100ml), Capsule MULTIVITAMINS, Tablet PARACETAMOL(600mg), Capsule TORSEMIDE (0.5mg), Tablet AMOXCILLIN+CLAVULANIC ACID(625mg), Syrup POTASSIUM CHLORIDE(5ml), Capsule SILODOSIN (4mg).
