PRIMARY CUTANEOUS ASPERGILLOSIS IN ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA PATIENT: A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Primary cutaneous aspergillosis in immunocompromised patients israre. We present 60 years old man with primary cutaneousaspergillosis after receiving induction chemotherapy for acute myeloidleukemia. Diagnosis was based on microbiological culture andhistological examination of necrotic tissue isolated from the lesion.This infection was cured after short course therapy with amphotericinB.
