INVESTIGATION OF PHYTOCHEMICALS FROM DIFFERENT PARTS OF Aegles marmelos L.

Abstract

In the present investigation suggested that the phytochemicals(qualitative and quantitative) analysis was carried out from leaves,bark, and fruits of Aegle marmelos. It was alkaloids, flavonoids,phenols, reducing sugars, saponins, steroids, tannins, terpenoids,glycosides and anthiroquinone were qualitatively analyzed andalkaloids, flavonoids, phenols, reducing sugars, saponins, terpenoids,steroids, and glycosides were quantitatively excellent ofphytochemicals estimated. Among the three parts, fruit was excellentresults of plant in both qualitative and quantitative phytochemicalswhen compared to leaf and bark samples.
